Seven days of workshops, panel discussions and fabulous speakers is on offer from the Society of Women Writers Victoria’s literary festival ‘For the Love of Writing’ – including our own Jane Downing.
Jane will be musing on writing about love when you are disillusioned with love and her novel The Sultan’s Daughterwhich is based on dramatic real-life events of a princess of Zanzibar who gave up everything for a forbidden love.
Jane is in fabulous company with a keynote from Rosalie Ham, author of The Dressmaker, a talk on writing against the odds by Pip Williams, author of The Dictionary of Lost Words, and the incomparable Miriam Margoyles discussing Dicken’s women.
This is a ticketed event that will be live streamed via Zoom so we can all join in. Full program and bookings available on the Society’s website.
